In this remix of the original Flocking model, the distribution of Agents in space, rather than the individual Agents themselves, is visualized using a Heatmap. While it is more difficult to distinguish the behavior of individuals, group behavior becomes evident as flocks, emerging and dispersing over time, are presented as cells on the Heatmap, similar to emergent lifeforms in the Game of Life.
